*In order to help reduce the pet overpopulation and keep pets healthy in Rutherford County, the Community Pet Center began a low-cost Spay and Neuter Program several years ago.
*All pets receive the following five services: Spay/Neuter Surgery, Pain Medication Injection, Wellness Exam, Rabies Vaccine, Distemper/Parvo or Distemper Feline Vaccine. The cost is $80 as of February 1, 2023 and can be paid in cash (exact amount) or money order.Cost: $80.00 for 5 services as of February 1, 2023 (Dogs must weigh 70# or less to qualify and dogs between 50# and 70# cost an additional $15.
*Pre-registration and payment is required! This program is open to any resident of Rutherford County, regardless of income.
*We have two Wednesday transports each month. Drop-off is at 6:30 am and Pick-up at 4:45 pm at Community Pet Center Office.
*A pre-registration form can be submitted from our spay/neuter form link on this website. Once submitted, just stop in under the carport on Tuesday or Friday between 10 am and 12:45 pm to register and pay to secure your spot. Space is limited.
